We are looking very forward to September as it is a very busy month around here at Music Lady Headquarters. There are programs to start, birthdays to celebrate and concerts to enjoy!
First, I must say I was honored to return to the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival this past weekend. I was blessed to be surrounded by my family from Port Orchard, Washington, Traverse City and Caledonia, MI and Mom and Dad as well. We seranaded our newest family member Morgan Emery, born on July 4 with "You Are My Sunshine" and my cousin Jason Butzow and I did an encoure singing "Sing a Song" and a billion requests from my pal Bambi and her family and everyone who came in the tent.
We are glad to announce that Beverly Meyer, The Music Lady is once again listed in the Michigan Arts & Humanities Touring Program Grants. Go to our LINKS page for more details about the program and applying for grants.
Beverly will also be returning to the Somewhere in Time Festival in Trenton on September 20 and hosting a "Burgers for the Blind" event at the Woodhave Wendy's to benefit Penrickton Center for Blind Children. More info on both at our EVENTS page.
Happy Birthday to TML on the 16th this month and our pooch Oscar on the 21st.
More to come....08/27/09
